What you will do day to day
- Architect and implement the initiative from scratch or through major refactors
- Navigate ambiguity and turn it into a concrete plan with smart tradeoffs
- Build production grade systems with strong performance and resource management
- Collaborate with one supporting engineer who helps with implementation and continuity
Experience & Skills
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong systems thinking and architectural design skills
- Comfort working with dynamic runtime environments and code execution
- Deep understanding of performance optimization and resource management
- Experience building developer platforms, tools, or infrastructure
- Expert level knowledge of frontend (React Nextjs) and backend (Nodejs) architecture
Problem solving ability
- You have built things where you had to figure out solutions that did not exist yet
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous technical challenges
- Can architect systems and make smart tradeoffs under constraints
- Self driven and able to work independently with minimal direction
Relevant experience (any combination)
- Visual editors, canvas APIs, or complex UI tooling
- Code sandboxing, containerization, isolation techniques
- Real time rendering, collaborative systems, or complex state and event models
- Multi tenant architectures and safe resource controls
- Developer experience tools or platforms
- Working with design tool APIs or rendering engines
